About Tadpole Tearoom

Tadpole Tearoom is a relaxed rural tearoom serving delicious hot and cold food using all locally sourced ingredients.

It has a large outside seating area (which is quite the suntrap!) with spectacular views. For those more wintry days, there are cosy tables inside away from the elements.

Located in a converted farmyard and in the midst of a working farm, the tearoom is a favourite of locals, walkers and cyclists alike.

Anyone wanting a break in a lovely setting whilst surrounded by the sights and sounds of the countryside will feel right at home. Animals and children are positively encouraged - the more the merrier.

In addition to the chef's tasty dishes, the tearoom has also teamed up with a local baker.  She produces irresistible cakes and other goodies which are sold on site.

There is a large parking area, free wi-fi, and a well-sourced farm-shop and ice-cream stall in adjacent barns.

"Fantastic for Cyclists and Walkers - Dog Friendly Too

What a great find. This is exactly what a country tea room should be.
A lovely warm welcome, excellent home made food and drinks at a fair price. Very clean and tidy without any unnecessary airs and graces" - RobEvans_11, Trip Advisor, 24 March 2018

"HIDDEN GEM !

Fantastic little restaurant and whoever’s set this place up should be very proud. Been here a handful of times for a full English breakfast and that’s exactly what I got. Good honest food and well cooked. Good news travels fast and I can see the place being very popular and successful" - jay2233, Trip Advisor, 23 December 2017
